Acceptance notices are pouring in for Sedbergh School's Class of 2025, with new breakthroughs in admissions to top colleges and universities, and, in particular, U.S.-based schools are shining brightly in this application season:
The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) only issued two offers in Fujian Province, both of which were won by Sedbergh students. In addition, the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) also issued only two offers in Fujian Province, and Sedbergh students successfully won one of them.
Winnie, after receiving offers from Cambridge University, Imperial College of Science and Technology, University College London and many other top institutions, has once again won an offer from UCLA.
Zhang, after receiving offers from University College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, University of California, San Diego, and many other top colleges and universities, once again won offers from UCLA, UCB, and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, becoming the only dual-enrollment student at UCLA and UCB in Fujian Province!
It is worth celebrating that the 2025 Sedbergh students have accumulated 100+ acceptance offers from 62 of the world's top colleges and universities in seven countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Hong Kong, China, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, and more, and the cumulative scholarships have exceeded $9 million.
Institutions include - the UK direction of the University of Cambridge, Imperial College, University College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Edinburgh, King's College London, the University of Bristol, etc.; the U.S. direction of the University of California, Los Angeles, the University of California, Berkeley, Ross-Hulman Institute of Technology, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, University of Florida, McAllister College, etc.; The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the direction of Hong Kong, China; The University of Toronto, The University of British Columbia in the direction of Canada; The University of Melbourne, The University of Sydney, Monash University in the direction of Australia and so on.
Each graduate of the 2025 Sedbergh has received offers from QS Top100 universities, U.S. Top100, U.S. College of Arts and Sciences Top60, and top art/hotel management colleges and universities, realizing a 100% acceptance rate. This fully demonstrates the outstanding strength and extraordinary style of Sedbergh students. These exciting admissions results are not only the best proof of Sedbergh students' diligence and pursuit of their dreams, but also the vivid embodiment of Sedbergh School's philosophy of whole-person education.
Other countries and areas
On April 26, Sedbergh School Open & Experience Day, we welcome students and parents of all school ages, kindergarten through upper senior school, to come and visit.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the educational philosophy of Sedbergh School, meet face-to-face, and experience the campus culture, where you can feel how Sedbergh children, under the philosophy of whole-person education, realize the free and comprehensive development of language expression, cross-cultural thinking, and comprehensive literacy.
