Why not spend the summer in a different way?
Say goodbye to your “air-conditioned room” routine and step out of your comfort zone to meet young people from over 20 countries in England to talk about the world and explore the unknown.
You'll never guess what a child's study life will be like
Playing “mind jumping” in Sedbergh School, who said there can only be one answer;
Have a “conversation with artifacts” at the British Museum, where history doesn't have to be memorized;
Go wild at the Edinburgh International Festival and let your imagination run wild with artists from all over the world.
......
Sedbergh School, UK
Years of experience, same quality of camps
Located near the beautiful Cumbria Lake District National Park, it is one of the most long standing and renowned independent boarding schools in the United Kingdom, providing a consistent education system from kindergarten to high school.
Sedbergh School is a British Council-accredited school with over 25 years of mature operating experience in summer camps. All the courses strictly follow the British education standards, equipped with a team of professional certified teachers, through the scientific curriculum design and rich activity arrangements, to ensure that each student can get a pure British education.
Two Camp Themes
Diversified Exploration × Artistic Creation
The Sedbergh School has carefully designed a diverse and exploratory curriculum in the British tradition.
Including but not limited to: archery, rock climbing, Frisbee and other classic sports, as well as drama performances, creative crafts and other special activities. The professional archery course is personally instructed by a licensed British coach, who systematically teaches standard movements, mental regulation and other skills.
In a fun and enriching activity experience, students are able to master motor skills and achieve all-around growth that goes beyond skills.
The Sedbergh School has brought together teachers specializing in the arts, such as theater directors and jewelry designers, to create a series of creative classes.
Including but not limited to: theater performance, jewelry design, baking art, making candles and bath bomb balls and more than ten other courses. Under the guidance of professional teachers, experience the complete fun of art creation.
Each student builds artistic confidence, enhances aesthetic literacy and creative thinking, and makes art a unique language for growth.
Pure English
Dare to say it is more important
Sedbergh School's English-only curriculum is customized by a team of experienced teachers according to the age and English level of the students.
Our students will improve their English skills in all aspects and enjoy cross-cultural communication.
Think Outside the Box
Discover the possibilities of growth
In addition to the two core curriculums of Multi-disciplinary Exploration and Art Creation, Camp Sedbergh has prepared many new and fun program activities for students. The lower grades have designed fun programs such as Harry Potter Mystery and Jungle Adventure, while the upper grades have prepared challenging programs such as mountain biking and water park.
Among them, the two most sought-after activities are the two star activities:
Wilderness Survival Training: Under the guidance of professional instructors, learn practical survival skills including tent building, drilling wood for fire, and more.
Silent Disco Party: Through exclusive headphones, participants from different countries dance freely in a private music space. Hans, a student who has participated in the camp for two consecutive years, once said, “Disco night is like a feast of cultural exchange, and when the music plays, national boundaries naturally disappear.”
With a week of study at Sedbergh, every student will break through and meet a better version of themselves without even realizing it.
Residential life in camps
Each dormitory has its own lounge, TV, game consoles and other recreational space and equipment, in addition to 7 * 24-hour medical coverage.
Evening Life
Summer Nights 100% Happy
Enjoy a fun time each night with a wealth of evening activities: water fights, string making, bowling, swimming, movie nights, team games and more.
Dining with a British Flair
More than fish and chips
A wide variety of food and beverage options, covering a menu of national flavors, to meet the tastes and dietary needs of each participant.
